NUTRITIOUS MEALS

An elderly woman using a walker receives meals from a man working with a benevolent group delivering food to those who are at high risk because of the coronavirus COVID19

Meals on Wheels of Greenwich is a non-profit community service that provides nourishing meals each weekday throughout the year to eligible citizens of Greenwich, Connecticut so that they may continue to live independently in their own homes. There are no age restrictions.

We pride ourselves on providing nutritious meals at an affordable price.

  • Our meals are delivered Monday through Friday to each client’s door by caring volunteers
  • Our normal service includes one hot and one cold meal each weekday for as long as required
  • Weekend meals are also available and are delivered with our Friday service
  • We can accommodate various dietary requirements, such as diabetic, low-sodium, as well as allergies

Our menus are reviewed by a registered dietitian to ensure they meet recommended daily nutrition allowances.

Along with our daily meal delivery for Seniors and those who cannot prepare their own meals we deliver shelf-stable week-end meals prepared by Filling in the Blanks to several pre-K programs in Greenwich
