Meals-on-Wheels, Inc. of Greenwich fights hunger at both ends of the age spectrum — helping seniors remain safely at home and ensuring young children have food when school meals are unavailable.
For Seniors and Homebound Neighbors
Every weekday, Meals-on-Wheels volunteers deliver nutritious meals to seniors and homebound individuals who cannot shop or cook for themselves. Each delivery protects independence, supports dignity, and provides the reliable human connection that allows neighbors to remain safely in their own homes.
For Children Facing Weekend Hunger
Through our Preschool Weekend Meal Program, Meals-on-Wheels of Greenwich sends nutritious shelf-stable food home with children each Friday so they have meals when school cafeterias are closed.
Through these two programs, Meals-on-Wheels of Greenwich ensures that both vulnerable seniors and children have consistent access to the food they need.
