Meals on Wheels of Greenwich has responded to be able to continue our mission of feeding those who need help for a balanced diet and enjoyable meals but are unable to acquire or prepare meals for themselves. To react to the situation, we established a Coronavirus Task Force,  to respond to situations and operational needs as they arise. We have seen approximately a 20% increase in our client base. Some of our experienced drivers, who may be susceptible to the virus, have stepped aside during the crisis, and the remainder of our volunteer base has stepped up to fill the void. We appreciate the many individuals who have volunteered to help in our efforts, and we will call on you as the need arises.
