The mission of Meals-on-Wheels of Greenwich is to provide a food service that delivers tasty, nutritious meals at a low cost to any Greenwich resident in need. Our clients include the elderly, disabled, handicapped and infirm who are unable to shop or cook for themselves and require home-delivered meals on a short-term or long-term basis. Our volunteers not only bring nourishment to our clients but also provide critical personal contact to a population that is often isolated.
Volunteers Literally ‘Drive’ Our Organization
They dedicate their time and energy to bring healthy, tasty meals to our community. Their caring and support help turn our mission into reality.
Our volunteer drivers deliver meals Monday through Friday, between the hours of 10:30am and 12:00, and serve as a daily contact to our clients.
We currently service eight routes throughout the Greenwich community. It takes 40 drivers per week to support our routes.
Our Resources page includes information for organizations that service areas outside of Greenwich community.
